Responding to emergencies often places our first responders in high stress situations. How we handle those situations can make or break our public image and trust. Without a positive image and trust, it is almost impossible to complete our mission and serve our communities. With the growing use of social media, now more than ever, many of brothers and sisters are finding themselves on the negative side of the public narrative. In this session we will discuss sensitivity and de-escalation techniques that can help you navigate a bad situation.
